A Strong Voice for Ward 22:

Madhuri Azad is a socially active Scarborough-Agincourt resident, licensed Ontario lawyer, and active community volunteer. She brings a professional experience of over 16 years in the legal field with a blend of technical and innovative aspects gained through her background in Computer Science Engineering and an advanced degree in Master of Laws (LL.M.).

Currently, she serves as a democratically elected community representative, both as a PIAC (Parent Involvement Advisory Committee) Ward Co-Representative for Scarborough-Agincourt region, and as a School Council Co-Chair of a TDSB School. In these leadership roles, she participates in local parent council governance, promotes parent/caregiver engagement to support student achievement, and has actively advocated for a student safety framework. Her work in these roles focuses on bridging gaps to ensure parent voices directly shape educational resource allocation for students.

As a socially active resident, Madhuri Azad focuses on understanding community concerns through surveys and open discussions, while also exploring a framework to establish a local Resident Welfare Association. Her combined experience (as a legal professional and community involved individual) focuses on regulatory frameworks, policy review, analysis, and access to justice by demystifying the complex legal system for diverse community blocks.

She understands the system and knows how to fight for our kids and community. Together, let's elect a stronger voice this time.  Please Elect Madhuri Azad for city council in Ward 22 (Scarborough-Agincourt) for a strong voice advocating for families at Toronto City Hall.
